The reconstruction of the access road to the port of Ust-Luga has been completed in Leningrad region. According to the press service of the government of Leningrad Region, the work was carried out as part of the national project “Safe and high-quality roads”.
During the reconstruction the recycling technology was used. This technology increases the staying qualities and durability of soil cushion by means of usage of cement, binding additions and crushed asphalt which were processed in a special way. In result the slab is created, and the asphalt is being laid on it. After cooling down, such a road is able to withstand the constant passage of loaded trucks and heavy vehicles.
The complex of repair and restoration works included the elimination of ruts and deformations of asphalt carpet, the cleaning of ditches and curbs, the planning of slopes and the restoration of the working capacity of culverts passing under the base of the route.
The ordering customer is GKU Lenavtodor, the cost of reconstruction is almost 50 million rubles.
